- The show is trying to be the next JLP or DEH and when you try to do that, you fall flat. I’d take the dj part out of it…that just didn’t read well to me and I would change the story of how the son dies. Put me in the writers room
I had high hopes bc of Heidi Blickenstaff and Drew Gehling’s ability to wreck me through live theatre. That being said, it was a flop for me. The music was corny (and that’s coming from me) but the story didn’t speak to me. The vocals were incredible and the acting was moving at times.
