Privacy

The short version

  • We never sell or share your data, and there are no ad trackers. Your journal and diary will never have ads.
  • Journal entries are private unless you choose to publish them. Nobody else can read a private entry.
  • Your seat, price and notes about a night are only ever visible to you. A seat rating and a price you enter count toward anonymous totals: ratings per section on the theater page, and the middle range of prices on the show page once 3 people have shared one.

What we keep

Your email address (to sign you in), the profile you fill in, the shows you log, what you write about them, cast reports, posts, votes, photos you choose to upload, and spare-ticket listings and offers. If you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address and profile picture, nothing else.

Who sees it

Only what you make public: a public profile and diary, published reviews, posts, comments and cast reports. Everything else is yours alone. One exception you choose each time: on Spare tickets, when you accept an offer we email the buyer with your address as the reply-to, so the two of you can reach each other. The buyer's address reaches you only if they reply. Offers aren't public: a seller sees the handle, amount and note on offers to them, and everyone else sees only the best amount and how many. Listings and their offers are deleted 30 days after the performance.

Services we rely on

Supabase stores the data and handles sign-in. Vercel hosts the site and counts anonymous page views (no cookies, and never what you write). Resend sends sign-in and alert emails. Google handles Google sign-in if you use it. Cloudflare checks the sign-in form isn't a bot. Place searches go to OpenStreetMap's Photon service, and maps load from OpenFreeMap. If your phone can't read a playbill photo itself, the photo goes to Anthropic's Claude to read the cast list; Anthropic doesn't train on it.

Leaving

You can delete your account and everything in it from Settings. If anything goes wrong, ask through feedback and we'll do it.
